I had someone contact me last week looking for a panoramic image from around my home town of Buena Vista. I had one on my website, but he wanted to know if I had anything else. This was a perfect excuse (or kick in the pants) for me to go back through my multitude of unprocessed images in search of something worthy of showing him.
This is a shot I took back in 2007. That was shortly after I had moved here and I was busy investigating every road in the area for shooting locations. Of course, that can be a little challenging in the middle of the winter. I did find this county road that took me up above town on the east side that offered this beautiful view down the valley. I nearly buried my Jeep and I remember it was down right chilly shortly after sunrise. I thought it might provide some visual relief for those suffering from this summer’s oppressive heat!
