I was looking for a forest image this morning and ran across a series of images I shot back in June of 2008. (I know, it is terrible that I have pictures that old that I haven’t touched!). Anyway, this one caught my eye and really makes me anxious for springtime and to get out shooting the colors of the season. I took this just up the road from the ghost town of Ashcroft. The mountainsides there are covered with tall, straight, and slender aspen trees. I like how the trunks of the trees still can be seen through the foliage. I have spent many a day trying to catch a good composition there. I hope you like this one!
