A couple of weeks ago I got up early to shoot the blue moon setting over the Collegiate Peaks here in the valley. I posted the moon image earlier. An added bonus that morning was what followed the moon’s disappearance behind the towering mountains. Within minutes, the clouds hanging over the peaks began to turn pink and the face of Mount Yale started to glow. It was a beautiful sight to witness. A few minutes later and the pinkish hue was gone and the show was over.
