Visiting Grotto Falls was somewhat like going to the zoo. There was a sign on the Little River Road that pointed you in the right direction. The short trail from the parking area was well maintained and only had a few switchbacks. Then to top it off, there was a viewing area lined with a chain link fence along the side of the gorge. Needless to say, the opportunities for creative compositions were limited! I contemplated working my way around the fence, but with the recent rain and spray coming off the falls as well as the brush lining the sides of the creek, I chose the easy route. I can’t complain. The conditions were perfect once again for waterfall photography!
