I was on a whirlwind tour around Colorado this fall checking the status of the autumn color when I came upon this beautiful scene outside of Gothic. I stopped along the side of the road and had to wait for just the right shot, as quickly moving clouds cast a variety of shadows on the sides of Avery Peak. This is colorful Colorado!
