I am starting to process pictures from a trip to Maine in June of this year. I was lucky enough to get some clouds shortly after sunrise the first morning I visited Bass Harbor Head Light. By the way, did you know the sun comes up real early in Maine in June?! I stayed in the same location I had picked out before sunrise and took shots as the skies and light changed. About six o’clock the lobster boats started to come out of the harbor to head out to sea. I cranked up my ISO to hopefully get a short enough exposure to not have the boats be a blur. I managed to get a clear shot of this bright red one just as the sun started to hit the top of the lighthouse.
Looking good Monte. Looking forward to seeing some more images from your East Coast trip.
Thanks Luke! I should be done with them this week and will post something soon.
