Golden aspen trees frame the southern mountains of the Sawatch range rising beyond the Arkansas River valley outside of Buena Vista, Colorado.

It’s hard to believe that is has been over a year and a half since I last posted a new image on my website. In that time I have taken a look at all that I do photographically and spent time learning new and different techniques. I bought a drone. I changed out all of my gear. I got back out his this fall and it almost felt like I was starting over! I look forward to posting more new images to come.

The fall colors in Colorado were spectacular this fall, especially right around my neighborhood. This panorama was taken south of town in an area known as Aspen Ridge. There are miles of aspens with a road running through the middle. I took a friend of mine up there one morning and we hit it at just about peak color with glorious weather conditions. In all the times I have been there, I have never taken a shot from this spot. The aspen trees frame up the mountains perfectly.
